"Tommy Peterson's Heroes Like Me," our foundation in honor of Tommy is now an official non-profit corporation. All monies collected are going toward setting up Tommy's Treasure Chest and new movies and games for the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorder Service at CHOA-Egleston. We are still collecting cute jokes for Tommy's joke book. Our 2nd annual TREASURE SALE was September 29, 2007. We had some great things to sell and the day was a great success! We made over $6000 to support our cause. We had more volunteers than ever before and felt the love and support of our friends and community! Hole in my heart...

I wake up each morning and it hits me all over again that you are gone. A picture of your sweet smile makes me weepy. The house is empty of giggling boys and cartoons. I bring the new movies, cartoons and games to the kids at the AFLAC center, but it doesn't make me miss you less. I only have to take care of your brother, sister and Dad, but they don't need me like you did. I know that you are in a great place with the new cartoons and all the chicken nuggets you can eat and blue Gatorade you can drink...but there is a hole in my heart. You once said, "I'll always be with you." Maybe I'm just too sad to feel you. I just miss my sweet angel, my honey bunny boo, my good boy. I will always love you...
